My Final Round Against Cancer
In April 2011 after a five year long battle against cancer I was told by the oncologists to enjoy the last months of my life, the chances were that I was not going to make Christmas.
I had no choice, make peace with the fact that my life is over and wait for death. It is now December 2012 and I am still here, and a new experimental cure has recently been approved in the USA for my type of cancer. It is very expensive and experimental drugs are not paid for by the medical aids. If I have any chance on life this is my final round.
It is for this reason that I ask you to help me save my life. I do not know the reasons for life, but I do want to live.

KAREN’S SISTER, BRENDA, DIED IN CAR CRASH
Brenda Vosloo, Karen’s only sister died in a car crash on Monday 25 February 2013. Brenda was one of the serious activists and driving forces behind the Karen Buchler Cancer Fund. Registration as a Non-Profit Organisation
The Karen Buchler Cancer Foundation has been registered with the Department of Social Development on 30 January 2013. The registration No. is 115-607 NPO The Regtistration Certificate is in the post and will be uploaded once we received it.

Karen’s PET Scan Results
The PET Scan images below clearly shows how successful the Brentuximab (SGN-35) treatment is. Karen’s cancer should be in remission soon !

Karen Is Winning The Battle
Karen went for a PET Scan yesterday (29 January 2013) and the images show that about 90% of the cancer disappeared when compared with the PET Scan results of May 2012.
